<p>Ok so here we go!!! Vic and I are about to launch our fundraising campaign for the 2019 shitbox rally! This will be the biggest rally to date going from Perth to Sydney via Uluru! May 8th - 17th 2019. </p><p></p><p>This past 6 months I have lost a family member, a close friend and a friends mum all to this horrid disease. One in her 40's and two early 50's, its just not fair. I know there is a cure for cancer out there and its not that far away. Please get behind us and help us raise as much as we can for cancer research and awareness. Even $5 can make a difference. <p>Hello everyone following our 2019 team! Thanks to our main sponsor Neds who have this year generously taken our whole car over, we are changing our name from the Blonde Bandits to Lady Luck. For those of you who aren't familiar with Lady Luck she is an iconic lucky charm that many people keep close by to watch over them in their travels, endeavours and adventures. She must be already working her magic, as this year the ever inspiring and amazing friend Heather Ferrier has put back on her rally shoes to team up with me as co driver for the 10th Annual Shitbox Rally. Thank you Vick Patterson for staying onboard not as co-driver this year but as my no 1 supporter, friend, painter, artist and all things amazing. You will always be part of the team and we can't wait to see what you will come up with for the car design and the highly anticipated art auction!</p><p></p><p>Most of you know that my reason for doing the rally for the 4th time was inspired by Heather. Heather introduced me to the rally some 5 years ago when I flew to Townsville to watch her cross the line in this amazing event. At that time heather had been diagnosed with stage 4 Breast and Liver cancer, and to see her complete this event was so inspiring. 5 years on Heather is still going strong despite the diagnosis due to advances in treatments and medications that the cancer councils no 1 fundraiser, the shitbox rally has been able to contribute to. Heather has hit a few hurdles along the way, but being able to do this rally with her is amazing. So please support us in trying to reach our $20,000 target as we drive our shitbox Toyota Camry with over 300,000k's across Australia from Perth to Sydney via Uluru, kicking off May 8-17, mostly off road!</p><p></p><p>If you or anyone you know are interested in sponsoring or donating to us please pass on our details.
